Description
These huge but gentle marine mammals are a fairly common sight along the Florida coastline and rivers. They are slow moving and graceful in the water. They eat the vegetation that can clog our rivers and streams, and do us a service by keeping our waterways clear. Once one surfaced near us on a river, dwarfing our canoe and startling us. But it was only curious, manatees pose no threat to people. Original is unframed half inch gallery wrap canvas.
